Innovation Ambition Matrix: Market Newness vs Product Newness

Called the “Innovation Ambition Matrix”, Roman Pichler adapted this tool from earlier work of Bansi Nagji and Geoff Tuff in his book Strategize. It is based on the Ansoff Matrix from Igor Ansoff. In this case, “Product newness” and “Market newness” (How established is the market) are your axis labels. The categories are “Core innovations”, “Adjacent Innovations”, and “Disruptive Innovations”.
